My dear friends, this plan was launched by PM Narendra Modi of India to ensure the rights of girls in the country on January 22, 2015. It is an innovative scheme launched with other innovative programs like Sukanya Samrudhi Yojna, etc. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme has been started to save the girl child and to educate girls. According to this plan, action plans and strategies have been created especially for the positive results in the districts, in which the girl sex ratio is low.
Almost 100 districts with fewer CSRs (child sex ratio) have been targeted to work first. Some districts of the state of Haryana with fewer CSRs are Rewari, Bhiwani, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Mahendragarh, Sonepat, Jhajjar, Panipat, Karnal, Kaithal, Rohtak, and Yamunanagar. This campaign has made the goal of improving the situation of girls as well as making them social and financially independent through future and proper education. This is a positive result for creating awareness for improving the efficiency of welfare services for women.
This scheme was an urgent need for society to improve the welfare issues of girls. If we look at the census of 2011, the number of girls (ages 0 to 6) lived around 918 / 1,000 boys. The constant decrease in the number of girls was a dangerous sign and there was a need to deal with it on an immediate basis. This happened due to some bad behaviors against them, such as determining the abortion of sex and selection of gender by using modern diagnostic tools in hospitals. However, if a girl is accidentally born, she has to face the old social tendency of gender discrimination for whole life and never gets the same opportunity to work like a boy.
This program aims at removing social prejudices against male child in society as well as improving the condition of girls through security and education. This scheme is not a disease treatment drug but it is a helpful plan. This can only be successful when it is supported by us. There is a need to change the attitude and mentality (especially the parents) for girls so that they can get the same opportunity after their birth, such as safety, health care, education, etc. In this way, a girl can be an independent organization and her parents have no burden. Beiti Bachao - Beti Padhao - Today, the campaign has helped us to improve the status of our daughters, but it is still not enough. It is a great pain to the mind that the country which has great culture, the great traditions of the country, the best things in the scriptures, from the Vedas to Vivekananda - enlightenment in the right direction, but what is the reason, what evil has gone home? Today we have to add the hands and feet to save our daughter in our own house, we have to explain; The government has to spend money for that?
There can not be any pain for any society in my eyes. And due to a distorted mentality for many decades, due to a wrong thinking, we have chosen the way to sacrifice daughters due to social evils. It is very painful to hear that in the society today the number of daughters is very small compared to the sons. When such a situation arises, we can not even imagine the plight of the society. The cycle of society runs through equality of man and woman, the activity of society increases.
For many decades this has denied daughters, they were killed in the stomach. The result of that is that there is an imbalance in society. But now we have to decide that as many sons will be born, the same daughters will be born. As many boys as they would have got their daughters Son-daughter, both are equal; If we walk on this feeling, we can improve the status of daughters in the coming years.
Beiti Bachao - Beti Padhao, we all have to make a mass movement. It should be a voice from every house that we need a daughter. All State Governments of this country need to create a social movement in their respective states for this.
