Ability for CID Officer:
1. If any candidate wants to be admitted to CID then the candidate should be a citizen of India.
2. In order to join the CID as a constable, the minimum qualifying qualification of the candidate must be 12th pass. For this, the candidate should be with 55% in the 10th and with 60% in the 12th. If a candidate wishes to apply for a post of Sub Inspector or Officer level, then the candidate must have at least a Graduation Pass. This means that in order to get a good post in CID, it is necessary for the candidate to graduate after the 12th standard.
3. Candidate's age limit should be between 20 to 27 years. Apart from this, according to the rules of the Government of India, for 5 years of exemption for SC / ST categories, 3 years of exemption for OBC categories, 10 years of exemption has been given for candidates of PH categories.
4. Eye-Sight: Distant Vision: 6/6 in One And 6/9 in Other Eye.
5. To join the CID the candidate's height should be 165 cm in height for the men and the chest should be 76 cm and the height of women should be 150 cm.
