The Mahabharata is an invaluable heritage of Hindu culture. In the scriptures it is also called the fifth Veda. Its creator is Maharishi Krishnavadayan Vedavas. Maharishi Vedavas himself has said about this book- Yanehahasti na Kutrita. Whichever topic has not been discussed in this book, its discussion is not available anywhere elsewhere. The priceless gems like Srimad Bhagwatgita also give the same ocean. There is a total of one lakh verses in this book, hence it is also called Shatashahastri Samhita.
Mahabharat - 30 Facts
1- Mahabharata was written by Maharishi Vedavas, but it was written by Lord Shri Ganesha. Lord Shree Ganesh had written the Mahabharata on this condition that Maharshi Vedavhas continued to speak the stanza of this book continuously without ceasing. Then Maharishi Vedavas kept a condition that even though I should say without thinking, I have not written any verse without understanding. In between, Maharishi Vedavas had said some such verses that it took some time for Sraghnesh to understand and during this time Maharishi used to compose other verses of Vedas.
2- The reading of the Mahabharata book was first used by Vishampayan, the disciple of Maharishi Vedavas in a meeting of King Jemayjaya. King Jemmejay was the grandson of Abhimanyu and son of test. He only made a serpent to take revenge for the death of his father.
3- Bhishma's father's name was Shantanu, his first marriage was from Ganga. In ancient times, Shantanu was the king's mother-in-law. He made a great sacrifice and obtained heaven. One day many gods and Rajarsi, including Mahishush, were present in the service of Brahmaji. At that time there came the Goddess Ganga. Raja Mahish was fascinated by seeing the Ganga and started looking at him alone. Angry by this, Brahma ji cursed Mahishash. When Mahavish had apologized to them, Brahma said, 'Mahishma, you go to hell, the Ganges you see, he will disgrace you and you will be free from this curse if you are angry at him.'
4- Because of the curse of Brahma, Mahishusha, son Pratap's son Shantanu became the next birth. They were married to Goddess Ganga. Prior to the marriage, Ganga had promised Shantanu that they will never ask any questions. Shantanu accepted this. Raja Shantanu and Ganga had eight children. After the birth of the first seven children, the Ganga flows into the river. Being committed, King Shantanu could not ask for anything from Ganga.
5- When the Ganga was going to flow through the river in the river, King Shantanu came in anger and asked for the reason. Then Goddess Ganga told them the whole thing of the last birth and she went away with the eighth child of Shantanu.
According to the scriptures, thirty-three Gods have been named chief. Among them are Asht Vasu. These same Ashta Vaas were transmitted as Shantanu and the son of Ganga, because they were cursed by the Vashishta sage to take birth in the human vagina. After the birth of seven sons of Ganga, they were released from the vagina by shedding in the river. King Shantanu and Ganga's eighth son became famous as Bhishma.
7- King Shantanu's second marriage was to Nishad Kanya Satyavati. Shantanu and Satyavati had two sons - Chitrangad and Vitrichavyyree. Chitrangad was very brave and mighty. In a war of his own name, Chitrangad, by his own name, killed him. After Chitrangad, the bizarre verse was made king. He was married to Kashi's princess Ambika and Ambalika. But after some time Vitrishchwari died.
8- Vishnu was the incarnation of Yamraj in the Mahabharata. Yamraj had to be born in the vagina due to the curse of sage organs. Viudur was a master of religion and economics. He worked for the benefit of the Kuruvishtha throughout life.
9- Yaduvanshi was a son of Shurasen named Putha and Vasudeva. Raja Shurasen had given this daughter to Kunibhavhoja, the childless boy of her boyhood. Kunti Bhoj named the girl Kunti. Kunti was married to King Pandu.
10- When Kunti was in childhood, at that time she served Rishi Durvasa. Pleased with the service, Rishi Durvas gave Kunti a mantra, so that he could call any god and get a son from him. One day, Kunti called Sun Deva to see the power of this mantra before marriage, which consequently Karna was born.
11- Maharaj Pandu's second marriage was to Princess Madri of Madras. Once the King Pandu was playing hunt. At that time, a sage named Kendam was having sex with his wife as a deer. In the same state, King Pandu attacked them. Prior to the death, Rishi Kindam cursed King Pandu, that whenever he would accompany his wife, he would die in that state.
12- Sad sadly with the curse of Rishi Kindam, King Pandu abandoned Raj-Pat and became a resident. Kunti and Madri also started living in the forest along with her husband. When Pandu came to know about the mantra given to Kunti by Rishi Durvasa, he asked Kunti to call Dharmaraj, which resulted in the birth of Dharmaraja Yudhisthira. Similarly, Arjuna was born from the part of the Vayu Deva, from the part of Bhima and Devraj Indra. Kunti told Mantri this mantra. Then Madri called Ashwin Kumar, which led to Nakul and Sahdev.
13- Maharshi Vedavas, the wife of Dhritarashtra, gave a boon to Gandhari to be the mother of a hundred children. Gandhari remained pregnant in time, but he stayed in the stomach for two years. Ghabarakar Gandhari dropped the womb. His flesh came out of his stomach like an iron sphere. Then Maharishi reached the Vedavas and said that you make a hundred kunds and fill them with ghee and arrange them for protection. After this, Maharishi Vedavas asked Gandhari to sprinkle cold water on that meat body. As soon as the water sprinkled, the flesh of the flesh fell into 101 pieces.
14- According to the wishes of Maharishi, Gandhari kept all those meat in ghee-filled herbs. Then Maharishi said that after opening the two kundas after two years. Duryodhana was born before those kundas in time, and after that other Gandhari sons On the day Duryodhana was born, Bhima was born too.
15- Duryodhana started throwing like an asshole after birth. Hearing the word, asses, jackals, vultures and crows began to scream, the storm started to run, many places were set on fire. Seeing this, Vidur told King Dhritarashtra that your son is definitely going to be destroying the total, so you give up this son but Dhritarashtra can not do this due to son's affection.

Aryak Nag was happy to give Bhima the juice of the kunds giving thousands of elephants to the force, so that Bhimsen became even more powerful.
23- The Vice-Chancellor of Pandavas was a grace. His father's name was Sharad, he was the son of Maharishi Gautam. Maharishi Shardhan received the divine weapon by taking extreme penance and attained mastery in Dhanvarad. Devraj Indra also got nervous seeing this and he sent an enormous name for breaking the penance of Sharad. Seeing this beauty, Maharishi Sharadan got a semen. 24- Guru Dronacharya was the son of Maharishi Bhardwaj. Once he went to the Ganga bath in the morning, there he saw a nymph named Nritya, coming out of the water. Seeing this, the disorder got in their mind and their semen began to get exhausted. Seeing this, he collected his semen in a pot named Drona. Dronacharya's name was from the same.
25- Guru Dronacharya's marriage to Kripacharya's sister, Kripa. Ashwatthama was born from Krupi's womb. As soon as he was born, he swore like a horse; therefore, his name was Ashwaththama. He was born from Mahadev, Yama, time and period of anger.
26- When Dronacharya was receiving education, he came to know that Lord Parasurama is donating his everything to the Brahmins. Dronacharya also went to him and introduced himself. Dronacharya demanded all his divine weapon from Lord Parshuram and he also learned the method of experimentation, mystery and posterity.
27- Dronacharya loved his son Ashwaththama more. He used to give the dishes to bring water to the disciples, he would fill them in late, but Ashwaththama's pot was first filled, so that he could learn secret secrets by reaching his father first. This thing Arjun took palm. Now he fills his vessel immediately with the help of Warrens and then approaches Dronacharya. This was the reason that the education of Arjuna and Ashvatthama became the same.
28- When Pandavas were young, their fame spread far and wide. Seeing this, Duryodhana planned to kill them and built a palace with his minister Purochhan at the place called Varnavat. The palace was made of sun, resin and wood, so that it would be burned in a full time. Duryodhana somehow convinced Pandavas to go there.
29- When Pandavas started going to Varnataka, Viduraji told Yudhisthira the secret of that castle in sign language and Yudhisthira gave him the means to escape. Yudhishthira understood the whole point of Viduraji Then Vidurjee returned to Hastinapur. This incident is of Falgun Shukla Ashtami, Rohini Nakshatra.
30- Pandav lived in Varanavat city for one year. One day Kunti had a Brahmin banquet. When all the people went to eat and drink, a well-to-do woman came there to call for food with her five sons and they all slept that night that night. On the same night, Bhim himself set fire to the palace and left the secret path. When people saw Bhal Wali and five other bodies in the morning, they felt that Pandavas were burnt alive with Kunti.
