This recruitment is for Group C level-2 class posts for candidates. The total number of vacancies issued for RRB ALP and technician posts is 26,502, out of which 17,849 vacancies are available for Assistant Loco Pilot and 9170 vacancies are available for technician post.

RRB is the largest platform for recruitment of various railway posts. This organization works according to the rules of the government. The main purpose of RRB is to arrange an examination for vacant posts and recruit staff in the Railways. At present, there are 21 RRBs in different parts of India.
