8 Paradise Destination of Northeast India

Wonders of unexplained North East India come in small packages, here is a list of the 8 most beautiful sites of the North Eastern states - Paradise Unexpled.

This list does not have a place in North Eastern India, but includes the unexplained destinations of Haflong, Kaziranga National Park of Assam, Lake Tsomango and Sikkim, the unexplained destinations, the living root bridge, the natural caves and the waterfalls of Meghalaya.

1. Umangot river, Meghalaya

Located in the west Jayantia Hills district of Meghalaya, the city of Dawki is situated on the border of India and Bangladesh. Umangot river in Davki is the hidden gems of Meghalaya and the place of water of transparent river with green mountains.

2. Majuli Island, Assam

Majuli river is the first island district of India, and Assam is accessible only from Jorhat city to Ghat. The largest island is built by the Hotspot river with Brahmaputra and its tributaries and unique flora and endangered avifuna species.

3. Loktak Lake, Manipur

Loktak Lake is famous for its fluttering floating house and the only floating national park in the world. Keibull Lamjao National Park is home to India's endangered Sangai deer and is part of the Wetland Ramsion Convention site.

4. Jampui Hills, Tripura

The Jampui hills of Tripura are found in Mizoram and are famous for the Orange festivities, which are a panoramic view of the rising and dying sun, the valley and the virgin forest.

5. Fawangpui Park, Mizoram

Fawangpui National Park of Mizoram or Blue Mountains is also a natural home of the state's highest mountain peak and the wonderful series of birds, plants, different grasses and flowers.

6. Lachung Station, Sikkim

Lachung Hill Station of Sikkim is located about 125 kilometers from Gangtok, and is known as the most picturesque village of Sikkim, which is also a base camp for Roadodendran Valley, Lachane Valley and Yumthang Valley on the list of Road Tracks.

7. Touphema Village, Nagaland

Tohopema Tourist Village of Nagaland, is the oldest ancient village built in the Naga style of architecture for tourists. The village is the most popular tourist attraction in the northeast India and Naga is a museum to display social order and culture.

8. Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh

Ziro Valley of Arunachal Pradesh is a paradise free place of northeast India, famous for its amazing natural beauty and is listed for the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This valley is home to the Apatani tribes of Arunachal Pradesh and it is famous for Pine Clad Rice Field Hills, 115 kilometers away from Itanagar's capital.
