Marble Palace is a lenient mansion of nineteenth century in north Kolkata. It is one of the best-preserved and most beautiful houses of nineteenth century Calcutta. The mansion is famous for its marble walls, floors and statues, from where its name came out.

Raja Rajendra Mulik was the adoptive son of Nicolomoni Malik, who had built the Jagannath temple which was before the Marble Palace, and this temple is now standing inside the Marble Palace complex, but it is only available to family members.

The marble palace has many western sculptures, pieces of Victorian furniture, paintings of European and Indian artists, and other artwork. Decorative objects include large chandeliers, clocks, and ceiling mirrors.
