People are living their lives in isolation and avoid being social because stress in modern times has become very much in order to withdraw figures in their personal lives.
In the end, such people are involved in the habit of drinking, smoking, drug addiction etc. Apart from this, when a child does not feel satisfied at home or when he is deprived of his / her love, affection and care. Parents have feelings of dissatisfaction and such children become victims of drug addiction and completely ruin their lives. Our Indian government has really prepared various missions and is even capable of achieving success in this direction. People, whose family and friends are suffering from drug addiction, are requested to visit rehabilitation institutions and camps for the treatment of addiction.
Drug abuse should not be tolerated and should be strictly prohibited as a taboo. However, this habit is not advised to torture the addict or to behave inhumanly because if you try to explain and explain the person about his treatment, then he may voluntarily opt for it. Drugs, as we all know, is an illegal case that some people drink, smoke, injections or eat for mental, as well as for physical effects. There are many students who take medicines for fun or for many other reasons. Those who deal in the sale of drugs, they create a network and primarily target students to make drug addicts. Initially, medicines are sold for free to the students and gradually when they become accustomed to it, they start buying it and consuming it. Therefore, today I would like to appeal to the general public that they should remove themselves from the use of drugs and lead a healthy life. Drug addiction or drug misuse is described as a highly dependent on any substance, which essentially becomes the essential requirement of a person using it. This requirement becomes so mandatory that without that substance, a person can not live his life like a normal person does. And, when such a substance becomes available in the market then that person is considered to be suffering from substance abuse.
Drug addiction has become one of the most serious social problems in many developing countries as well as in developed countries, and it proves to be a major hindrance in the all-round development of people, society, country and the world in an inappropriately large scale. Our country is a progressive country and it is already suffering from so many more serious problems, such as unemployment, poverty and illiteracy, the situation of drug misuse makes it even worse because it further destroys our economy. The topic of today's speech is drug abuse! I have chosen to speak on this subject, because in these days I observe several campaigns being run on drug abuse to teach people about its adverse effects. As a teacher, it becomes my responsibility to help spread the message wherever we may be, and most importantly, start with our own school.
Drug abuse is considered to be one of the restrictions of our so-called civilized society. It has influenced all sections and areas of our society. People with illegal drug use are found everywhere, i.e. in urban and rural areas, among men and women, between rich and poor. But it is highly practiced by our young girls and boys who live in hostels in almost all technical and educational institutions.
The serious condition of drug misuse is prevalent throughout the world and unfortunately our country is much more affected than India.
