Today is a very special day because we are going to celebrate our annual festival. We all know that our school was specially made for orphans and I am very proud to announce that our school has completed 50 successful years in teaching orphaned children. Our school is a very big part of an NGO that works for orphaned children across the country. In these 50 years our school has achieved many assessments from the government and I hope that as the days go by, it will increase even further. To make this day more special, this program is organized especially in the entertainment park with many entertainment rides. We have also joined the special guest of today's program, which is the head of one of the most famous schools for orphaned children and it is my good fortune to meet all of you.
Before we start the program, I would like to say a few words in the context of this school, although I know about the fact that words are going to fall short for expressing my love and faith towards this NGO and school. We all have many memories with this school and every person standing here is aware of the ups and downs through which this school has been in the past. But regardless of problems, we all managed to stay together and made this school a success. Today, more than thousands of students are studying under our NGO and it was possible only by the hard work of our leaders, who are determined to help the orphans like you and me in this country.
The life of an orphan is very important and difficult. But through this NGO, they are giving us everything that children expect from their parents and we are very grateful to them. This is undoubtedly a great job for them in this world. They are securing the lives of thousands of children and making their future bright. I feel fortunate enough to enter school and it is not less than the place to worship for me. We see and feel the image of our parents in this school and teachers who make special efforts for our students. They teach us and show us the difference between right and wrong. This is our 26th annual festival which is going to be celebrated. This day is the most anticipated day in college because it brings out the love and affection that we share with this college and remember the fluctuations through which we all go through the whole year. As another year is going to end, we pray that this college will be the same for ever and relationship and friendship with each other remain the same.
To celebrate this day, we are going to perform some very interesting and wonderful performances, such as performance of dance and singing by students, which they have prepared very heartily and actively for this special occasion. This day is also a day when we will appreciate the hard work of students who have won awards and medals for this college and honored everyone through the award distribution ceremony. Several interesting competitions are organized to make dance and singing competitions such as for us all to make this day more memorable. Interesting awards will be given to the best performers or the winner.
But before starting with the celebration, as a professor I would like to say a few words in the account of the Annual Day celebration because it is a very emotional and also very positive moment for all of us. Being a professor in such a great college is very fortunate for me with a great opportunity for everyone. This place gave me very different experiences of being a professor, co-worker or mentor. But before we come to this memorable day, I would like to say a few words to this school because this is my last year at this school.
