AIPS was formed on July 2, 1924, during the Summer Olympics in Paris. AIPS includes the continental sub-union and national association. Some of its partners include International Olympic Committee, FIFA, IAAF and many more. The association puts emphasis on strengthening the relationship between associations, relations, dislikes, and journalists around the world. Therefore this day is considered important.
