Oxygen is one of the main gases present in the Earth's atmosphere. 21% of the air present in our ecosystem is oxygen. The process of respiration requires oxygen by humans and animals. Plants also decrease oxygen during the night.

During the daytime, the trees and plants breathe carbon dioxide and take fresh oxygen. It maintains the supply of oxygen in the air. Oxygen is important for the functioning of the human body. It works as a fuel for the body and keeps it energized. Oxygen is also used for various industrial purposes and recreational activities.

Water is also needed for the existence of living creatures on earth. It is mainly used for the purpose of drinking and it is important for the health of humans, animals and plants. It helps to remove the waste from the body. It requires this for proper functioning of brain cells. It is helpful in digestion and regulates body temperature. It is used for many other purposes, including cleaning, washing and sanitation. It is also used for agricultural and industrial purposes.

Interestingly, while oxygen and water make life possible on earth. These could be very dangerous. Excess of oxygen can lead to loss of vision, muscle turbulence and cough. Similarly, consuming more water than the required amount can affect the kidney. This can also be the cause of hyponlinemia, in a situation where the level of salt and sodium in the body actually decreases.

Importance of Oxygen and Water in Life

Introduction

The main reason why Earth's atmosphere is different from other planets is the presence of water and oxygen on the planet. These two elements are abundant in our planet. We have constant supply of water from various sources such as rainfall, river, drains, oceans and oceans. Oxygen is constantly filled in the atmosphere by plants and trees around us.

Importance of oxygen

Oxygen is one of the basic requirements for our survival. We need oxygen to breathe. Our body emits oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. Our respiratory system requires constant supply of fresh oxygen. Oxygen acts as fuel for our body. This enables our cells to generate energy from the food we eat. Oxygen is also used for industrial use. Many industries require oxygen to run different machines. Some medical treatments also require oxygen. Apart from this, the use of oxygen is also used to carry out various recreational activities.

Importance of water

We need to drink enough water to lead a healthy life and lead. Water is also required for various other purposes. We need it for cooking, cleaning, washing, sanitation, agriculture, and industries. Water creates an essential part in the construction of various industrial items which we require in our regular life. Water is also used to produce electricity without which we can not imagine our life.

Animals also require water for their survival. They primarily use it for the purpose of drinking. In the summer months, they soak themselves in water to overcome the scorching heat. Water serves as the housing of aquatic organisms.

Plants should also be fed regularly for growth and survival. Water helps them bring nutrients from the soil which is essential for keeping them green and healthy.

Conclusion

Thus, both oxygen and water are used by us directly and indirectly. These elements maintain ecological balance on earth and enrich biodiversity.

Oxygen and water render life for Earth

Introduction

One of the main life giving elements on earth is oxygen. Water, which is a combination of hydrogen and oxygen, is equally important for our survival. These are the most basic requirements for living organisms. A living creature can go without food for a few days but it is difficult to live for long without water. Without the presence of oxygen, survival is beyond the question. We need a continuous supply of this fresh air to enable us to function properly in all our body parts.

Source of oxygen

We get oxygen from plants and plants. The trees around us take out carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and take out oxygen giving life. The surrounding forest and the lush green garden are a great source of oxygen. To maintain ecological balance, they carry out oxygen and inhal carbon dioxide continuously.

They also absorb other harmful gases from the atmosphere. It helps in keeping the air alive and keeping fit for organisms. This is the reason that it is advisable to plant more trees. A large number of trees in the atmosphere ensure a clean and a better environment.

Sources of water

We get water from different sources. The Earth encompasses the vast oceans that are the main source of water on the planet. A large number of rivers, lakes, rivers, seas and reservoirs are also available on the entire planet. All these sources of water come under the surface water. Earth also has abundance of ground water. It is the water present under the surface of the earth. It stays under the surface of the porous rocks and soil. It is removed by digging wells and making tubewells.

Water cycle which is naturally occurring, the main reason is that abundant water is available on earth. Due to the excessive heat of the sun the water in the oceans becomes evaporated. Water from the sea, rivers and other sources also evaporates. As the vapors get up and move into the atmosphere, they begin to cool down and condense to shape the clouds.

Clouds get heavier when joining more vapors and finally bursts. The fall of the clouds fills the water in rivers, oceans and oceans in the form of rain. Rainwater is known as the pure form of water. So, the water is filled naturally again and is abundant in the environment.

Conclusion

Both of our oxygen and water on the planet are available in adequate quantities. We have been using them for centuries and they are still not out of stock. That's because our environment fills them naturally again. However, they are not as pure and fresh as they used to be.

Oxygen is a colorless, tasteless and odorless gas, which makes a part of various compounds including water. Oxygen is converted to light blue in its liquid and solid form. In places where temperature is low and the pressure is high, oxygen is visible in light orange, red, black and even metal.

Oxygen and hydrogen together make water. Water is a colorless, odorless and tasteless liquid. However, the water shows a light blue color in its purest form. As the thickness of the water increases, the color becomes dark blue. This color is considered as the result of the absorption and dispersion of white light.

The abundance of water and oxygen on the earth

Since hydrogen and oxygen are abundant in the Earth's atmosphere, water is also available in large quantities on our planet. Although both water and oxygen are being used for centuries, they are available in adequate amounts in the Earth's environment due to the natural ability to replenish.

Water is compensated by the water cycle through the water cycle. Water cycle involves various steps including evaporation, condensation and rainfall. Goes for the same oxygen, even though we continually consume it, it is released back into the atmosphere by trees and plants, which it breathes continuously.

Role of Oxygen in the Human Body

Along with humans, other mammals and animals and many other species of birds require oxygen to perform various functions of their body. This requires the proper functioning of each cell in the body. Living creatures breathe oxygen in their lungs.

Here, blood absorbs this gas. Then it is sent to various cells throughout the body, where it is used for cellular respiration. Oxygen is required to produce energy. Through a process called oxidation, oxygen changes food and liquid into energy in the body. Oxygen repairs our cells and maintains their health. It feeds our brain and keeps our nerves calm.

Our body stores oxygen for emergency. There are places where oxygen is not available. Oxygen stored in the body is used as a strategy to survive in these places.

Role of water in the human body

Water is important for proper functioning of our bodies as oxygen. Each cell, organ and tissue of our body needs water. Water is required to control the temperature of our body. It improves circulation of blood oxygen in the body. It works as lubricant for joints. It is helpful in digestion. It helps to evacuate waste materials from our body.

It also plays an important role in the functioning of our brain cells. It is important for us to have enough water for each day to replenish its loss. Having enough water helps keep the level of energy high. It helps in accelerating physical performance.

Price of water and oxygen for plants

Plants also require oxygen and water to survive and grow. Plants get oxygen at night. Therefore, the way we need oxygen, they also need this pure gas for life. Plants should also be fed regularly. They absorb water to stay hydrated and green. Water also helps to transport nutrients from the soil to the leaves of plants where the process of photosynthesis is processed.

Conclusion

Thus, water and oxygen are needed for the survival of plants and animals as well as human beings. They provide life for our environment.

We must save oxygen and water

Introduction

Oxygen and water are abundant in our planet. We do not have to pay for the oxygen that we breathe, nor do we have to pay for different sources of water present on the earth. This is the reason that we, humans, have started taking these elements. Humans are making progress in the field of science and technology at the expense of giving these life-giving elements.

Many human beings, such as vehicles, air conditioners and power plants, release the toxic gases in the atmosphere continuously, causing oxygen to be polluted. Alongside the factories, waste products from the houses are thrown into the water so that the water bodies are polluted.

Increasing levels of water pollution

It is a sad fact that our beautiful rivers, seaside, dense currents and vast oceans, which were the source of fresh water, are now getting polluted fast. Since the Industrial Revolution, water pollution is growing exclusively. Large quantities of waste products are thrown in the nearby rivers and seas because they are seen as an easy migration. This causes water sources to become unholy.

Water pollution disrupts life of marine organisms. Chemical and radioactive pollutants make these innocent creatures difficult to survive. Many of them develop various types of diseases that make their life difficult. Unable to face the effects of others and forsake life. Due to water pollution many species of aquatic creatures have become extinct and many are likely to disappear.

Rivers are a source of drinking water for communities on the banks of river banks. Most of them can not tolerate water purification systems and rely on river and flowing water for their drinking and cooking needs. However, this water is no longer suitable for drinking directly. As a result, they give rise to serious diseases. Water pollution also harms food chains and biodiversity and ultimately creates an imbalance in the ecosystem.

Increasing levels of air pollution

Road-driven vehicles release large amounts of harmful gases in the atmosphere. Toxic gases also emerge from the growing number of factories worldwide. They are contributing to the rising level of air pollution. Our environment is being filled with harmful gases like carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide. Now we are not taking fresh and pure oxygen from the atmosphere.

Oxygen is actually, it is not available in its pure form. We take out all kinds of chemical gases from the environment which cause various diseases. Due to the increased amount of air pollution in the atmosphere, lung diseases are increasing these days. Air pollution is also affecting various other animals. For them, breathing is as difficult as it is for humans.

Forests are a rich source of fresh oxygen. But unfortunately, humans are fast cutting forests. Thus, the lost oxygen in the system is not being compensated and the amount of harmful gases is increasing, resulting in increased air pollution.

We must save water and oxygen

If we continue to cut down trees, we drive vehicles that cause fumes, burn fuel in factories, and dispose of chemical waste in water, then our planet will not fit for survival of living beings after a few decades . We are already seeing the negative effects of rising water and air pollution and in the coming time the situation is only the worst. Each of us should contribute to prevent air and water pollution.

Conclusion

Children should be sensitive about the need to keep water bodies and air clean. They should also be taught about various ways in which these tasks can be completed. Government of different countries around the world should come up with plans to reduce pollution levels in their respective countries and citizens should follow them.
