Speech-1 on Labor Day
Good morning friends
Today we are all gathered here to celebrate International Labor Day in our company. It is celebrated annually on 1 May so that despite hard work, position, role and responsibilities of the workers in the organization, their hard work and dedication can be remembered. Respect for the social and economic achievements of labor / labor / labor day workers. Laborr Day is also known as 'May Day' or International Worker's Day and is celebrated as National Holiday in approximately 80 countries. It ideally constitutes annual and national acceptance towards the devotion and contribution of workers who ensure the prosperity, power and welfare of the country.
The hard work of each employee is very important for our organization and we believe in giving equal rights to them. I have been associated with this company for almost 35 years and I have not yet received any such problem or complaint related to the suppression of labor rights.
Since there are so many new appointments in our organization present here, I want to briefly give information about the origin of the workers. May Day or Labor Day began with the United States Labor Union movement in the second half of the 19th century, who advocated working eight hours per day. Since they were pathetic and unsafe for working people in the latter part of the nineteenth century, they had to work around 12-16 hours per day. In 1884, the Federation of Organized Trades and Labor Union (Falteu) passed a resolution that the term of 8 hours from 1 May, 1886 will be valid for legal work. The working activists were demanding eight hours of work movement, attacks etc. Five years later, on 1 May, a socialist organization was recognized as a national holiday and gradually many countries adopted this culture.
May Day is celebrated purely by the workers for the welfare of the organization and as a result it is celebrated to honor and respect our society. But today the Labor Day has evolved into a labor union festival which is losing the deep and true significance of this day.
Although our organization correctly recognizes the rights of the workers, which are also known as employees, but there are many companies who actually do unnatural work for the employees, although Labor Day is working 8 hours per day Was started to apply, an employee employed in the organization is also right, it is important that the organization only intends to generate profit Should not be operated with, but it should take care of the needs and needs of its employees, without whom the company can not achieve its goals. At the same time, employees or employees should respect the organization of the work culture of their organization and should remain under the organization's Code of Conduct with whom they are working.
Labor Day definitely protects the rights of the laborers and employees should not use it as weapons to threaten the management to get unfair advantage, then the purpose of Labor Day will be fulfilled.
Thank you.
Speech-2 on Labor Day
Good morning friends
Thank you all for being part of this forum. Today we will discuss about Labor Day which is also called May Day. It is celebrated on May 1 of every year worldwide. Our organization is a private welfare organization that works closely with the state government. We basically work for the development of low-level workers. We are among the very famous industrialists who support this movement. Friends, whenever we hear the word of labor, we get the attention of hard work or physical labor. Today we have gathered here to focus on some important rights of workers working for big and major organizations.
Historically, Labor / Labor Day was started in the US in which the bill was passed while advocating for 8 hours work for the laborers, and since 1886 the Labor Day was celebrated to honor the hard work of the workers or employees. started.
The important fact is that no company or organization can run without effort, but that does not mean that any employee who works for the company is ignored. After 8 hours of work, the company should ensure that workers or employees are not discriminated against on the basis of caste, religion, creed, gender, disability etc. and should be paid competitive wages or salaries. Apart from this, every worker is the first person and thus should respect his position or job without keeping in mind.
It is also true that laborers are the inspiring power of our Indian economy and industrial progress. Workers also have a big political influence because some labor issues have helped many political parties win elections. Workers help in running the factory, building roads, building buildings, extracting oil, etc. in different ways.
Today's laborers are not so ignorant or uneducated that they can not understand their rights or they can be pressed easily but there are some big companies who import workers from remote areas or villages. These people are naïve and since they are also poor, they agree to work on any conditions. Members of our organization travel in those areas and listen to their issues and expose it to the state government and work for their well-being. We have opened many schools in the villages and have provided education to the elderly as well as the children.
Our organization also works against child labor. We have identified several mines and factories which employ children in their production unit. Last year, the NGO had highlighted this issue and we immediately took cognizance of all such children from such units. Now we provide them education and provide arts and crafts training to their parents so that they can earn their livelihood.
I appeal to all the industrialists, governments, both private and government firms, including the general public, that we should come together to eliminate evil from our society and to gain support of low level people so that they can live a respectable life.
Thank you.
Speech-3 on Labor Day
Good morning to all of you from my side. I welcome all of you to this conference specially dedicated to the Workers / Labor Day celebrations.
This day is generally celebrated on May 1 every year but it is also different according to different countries. This day is also called May Day. It is celebrated to accept the economic and social achievements of the workers. It is celebrated to promote and encourage labor unions. The purpose of celebrating this day is to eliminate the struggle of the laborers and to promote the need for an eight-hour workday which was 12 to 16 hours in a day before. To stop people from agitation and keep yourself safe from moral and physical suffering, it was necessary to do 8 hours of work in the day. This day has great importance in every country because it ensures dedication to the efforts of the work force.
Just think if we have to work for 12 to 16 hours a day, how we will be upset and upset. Honestly, I think that every employee or worker should be given the exemption on the basis of workload. The importance of this day, which is celebrated as the assessment day for workers, is very high. Due to this day, the basis for the reduction in the working hours of the workers and the workforce's achievements is formed.
This festival has become a historic importance throughout the world and it is celebrated by labor unions around the world. Workers always strive to improve our lives and in fact they are entitled to respect for their work. In India this labor day was celebrated for the first time in 1923. This day is a special occasion when the true spirit of the working class and workers is respected around the world. This is the day when workers celebrate their powers together and show that they are struggling to make positive improvements for the working class of the society and will continue to struggle.
All of us, in whatever cases we can, should protect the working class. It is actually a special task force that constantly strive for the welfare of society and a better life. Although this day is celebrated as National Holidays in most of the countries, but we should not do this as a holiday, but to recognize the efforts, activities and true dedication of the workers. We should encourage our children and other colleagues to celebrate this day in their own way and know the significance of this day.
Special seminars and sessions should be organized to identify labor force efforts. Thank you all for celebrating this occasion and sharing your thoughts with me.
Thank you.
Speech-4 on Labor Day
Goodbye to all dignitaries present here on my behalf Thank you all for going here and giving us your valuable time. On the occasion of Labor Day, I am going to give a speech today.
As we all know, Labor Day is celebrated on May 1 of every year worldwide. This day is celebrated to pay tributes to the workers who have made their ego contribution to make the world strong and prosperous.
Earlier, the working conditions in the 19th century were serious and at the same time, all workers went on strike demanding an eight-hour movement in which they advocated for eight hours of entertainment and eight hours for rest.
Labor Day constitutes many privilege and welfare policies for men and women who work themselves. It includes daily working hours from 12-16 hours a day to 8 hours. No company, organization can force any worker to work more than 8 hours without paying their extra hours.
The minimum wage rate has been fixed to protect the interests of working people. Associations have been designed to protect their rights.
The Child Act 1986 has been construed as a legal offense for compelling any child under the age of 14 years of employment. No company can move forward without dedicated people to work. In return, dedicated people should also get respect and fair decisions for their duties.
Labor Day has given all workers the right to enjoy the freedom and privileges gained for their contributions to the nation.
Thank you.
