Ayodhya Nagar is located near Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh state of India. This city is considered to be one of the seven sacred shrines in India. This city is settled on the banks of river Sharayu. This city was known in ancient times as Kaushal Nagar.
According to the Vedas, the city of Ayodhya is the city of God, not only this city has been compared to Paradise.
Ayodhya Ram Temple History
Historically, this city had special significance among the kings in ancient times. And this city was the capital of Suryavanshi kings.
Ayodhya Nagri is also known as the city of temples. In this city, the relics associated with various religions are found to be seen, from which it is confirmed that there were many pilgrimages in ancient times.
According to the belief of Hindu religion, the birth place of Shri Ram Chandra, Ayodhya Nagar - Ram Janmabhoomi. And in ancient times, there was a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, which was given by the Mughal ruler Babar and made a mosque in its place which was named Babri Masjid - Babri Masjid.
Later on this place only the structure of the building was left, which was surrounded by controversy that at this place the temple will be built or the mosque's place of the mosque.
In 1992, a temporal temple was established here by removing the disputed structure under the leadership of Ram Bhakt.
Some issues related to the Ayodhya Ram temple
- According to Hindu religious beliefs, Shri Ram was born in Ayodhya and his grand temple was in Ayodhya. And in 1528 this temple was demolished by Mughal ruler Babar and the mosque was established here.
- The debate started with the temple and the mosque started in 1853.
- In 1859, when India was under British rule, the British resolved the dispute between Hindus and Muslims, and decided that Muslims could pray in the inside of the building and in the outer part of the Hindu Building Pooja can do the recitation of the text. In this way people of both religions can use this place.
- When India was liberated from slavery in British India in 1949, then a statue of Lord Rama was installed in the inside of the building, after which there was a lot of controversy between Hindus and Muslims, there was a growing dispute between Hindus and Muslims. Given the tension, the government had to take a decision to lock the main gate of the building.
- After this, in 1986, it was decided by the judges that this place should be opened as a place of worship of Hindus, but the Muslim community strongly opposed this, and this is not the case against them, they also established the Babri Masjid Action Committee. Did it
- After this incident, in 1989, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad was convinced that Ram temple was built on the land which is right from this disputed site. After that the building was destroyed on December 6, 1992, resulting in violent riots in the whole country, in which about two thousand people had to die for their lives.
- After the incident happened on December 16, 1992, the Liberhan Commission was formed and the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, M.S. Liberhan, who had retired, was made the chairman of this commission. This commission was given time till March 31, 1993, in which he was asked to present the report related to the building. But till 30 June 2009, this commission failed to provide any kind of report.
- Subsequently, in 2010, Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court declared this land as Ramjanmabhoomi declaring the land related to the disputed land. The court gave this verdict on a majority basis. At the same time, the court also took the decision that the portion of the disputed land which Muslim Muslims have been offering prayers, should be given to the Muslims. The verdict given by the court was rejected by both the Hindus and the Muslims, which resulted in both sides refusing to accept this decision and turning their stand towards the Supreme Court.
- Even after 8 years have passed, any final decision related to this issue by the Supreme Court has not yet been announced. Although many decisions have been made for the purpose of listening to the decision, but in spite of this, no decision has been taken by the court so far.
- Now the point of view is that when the Supreme Court will come up with a decision related to this issue, the decision will be taken in whose hit and also the result of this decision will be taken.
