As we are moving forward, the level of pollution is also increasing and the soil pollution has become one of the most important challenges affecting the environment along with the living organisms. While soil pollution is considered a global problem; Developed and developing countries are constantly struggling to find solutions to this problem. As a result of various types of toxic substances and hazardous substances from different sources, the soil polluting soil, water and air gets submerged. Poisonous dust and smoke, chemicals, etc. from factories and industries are shed in open ground and water, which causes air, water, land and environment pollution.
It is a known fact that polluted environments are highly fatal, for which we are involved in human and animal bodies through the lungs while breathing. Despite various efforts by various research institutes, no permanent solution has been drawn to fight the soil pollution.
Sewage dumps and all other types of waste coming from factories and industries are directly flown in large water bodies including rivers, seas, lakes etc., while they cause water pollution and adversely affect people's health. Because they get together with drinking water; These polluted water bodies also play an important role in creating soil pollution. When a flood occurs, the contaminated water flows in open fields and when the water gets dry then it gets accumulated in the ground; Thereby causing soil pollution.
Agriculture is one of the reasons for soil pollution. Chemicals such as solvents, hydrocarbons and heavy metals emitted from factories and industries are merged with the soil; Due to the use of pesticides, fertilizers and herbs etc. during cultivation and due to leakage of chemicals or chemical leakage, there is soil pollution.

Soil pollution is considered to be one of the most deadly problems because it is constantly interrupting human life and it has polluted the entire environment around the world. In the language of common man, soil pollution is a slow poison that is disturbing people's life as well as animals, birds as well as water animals. Whereas soil pollution or any type of pollution is considered uncontrollable; It is becoming more important to control pollution and to make India and the world independent of living a healthy life.
The biggest reason for pollution of soil is untimely people. Although the villages contribute significantly to soil pollution; Industries and factories located in developed cities and big cities are highly responsible for this type of pollution. While almost everyone understands the consequences of soil pollution; Any attempt by one or two people, industries or institutions to deal with such a problem is not enough.
Soil pollution is the result of dump, waste and wastes which are deposited in the land which gradually affect the area along with the surrounding areas. In addition, farmers use insecticides, Shakanshi etc. to protect their crops and crops. In earlier times, farmers used biological pesticides, but now they use chemical infected pesticides to accelerate the development of crops and to protect it. Soil or land pollution can be defined as "changes in physical, chemical and biological conditions of land, through human intervention / misuse of land, and consequently soil volume and productivity declines.
Causes of soil pollution:
In the UDC, domestic and municipal waste, industrial wastes and agricultural wastes are responsible for soil pollution. Not only land but fresh water and local marine environment are also polluted.
(A) Domestic and municipal waste:
Household wastes are waste which are produced by households. These waste contain many substances and materials such as fruit and vegetable peels, unused food products, newspapers and plastics which are mixed in the soil. These are not dealt with properly and become home for rats, flies and mosquitoes.
(B) Industrial waste:
The main sources of soil pollution are industries such as oil refining, chemical and fertilizers, food processing, iron and steel, pulp and paper, textile and mining, etc. Millions of tons of industrial wastes are mixed in the soil, thus increasing the extent to this. soil pollution.
(C) Agriculture Pollution:
The salinity of soil from irrigation increases to such levels that its productivity decreases. Intensive use of fertilizers causes damage to nitrogen fixation. Pesticides residues stay in the soil for a long time.
(D) Mineral production:
Mineral production is always associated with solid waste generation in the form of overburden, tailing and slim. Areas surrounding the smelting and mining premises are usually soaked by metals. Mining is done as a result of soil erosion, loss of fertile land and soil pollution.
(E) Biological agent:
The problem of improper emission disposal can be the reason for soil pollution, water pollution and the spread of flies. Diseases that can be caused by pollution are a host of typhoid and paratified fever, dysentery, diarrhea, cholera, hookworm disease, ascariasis, viral hepatitis and other intestinal infections.
(F) Radioactive material:

Effects of Soil Pollution:
Soil pollution affects humans, animals and vegetation alike:

(B) Permanent waste management:
This includes the following steps:
(i) Industrial waste should be recycled.
(ii) Debris and waste left after mining should be replenished in old and abandoned mines.
(iii) Biodigradeable materials should be composted.
(iv) People will have to raise awareness.

As you know, we have gathered here to participate in a program called 'Sustainable India' organized by our company. The main purpose of this event is to make you aware of the adverse effects of soil pollution in the present time.
The soil pollution has been described as a change in the chemical, physical and biological conditions of soil due to human interference or misuse of land; Thus, reduces soil degradation and its productivity.
Many research centers have been involved in researching the main causes and effects of soil pollution.
