CTET 2018 Exam is being conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the teaching profile in the whole country. CTET 2018 goes online, expected major changes
According to the recent report, CBSE - CTET's operating institute has decided to conduct an examination in online mode. Until last year, the examination was conducted in traditional pen-paper mode. In addition to changes in conduct situation, CTET exam pattern and selection criteria are expected to change. However, no official information has been issued to deliver the message to the changes.
CTET 2018 Exam Dates
CBE has not been able to issue official information for CTET 2018 yet to inform temporary or exact exam dates for the CTEE 2018 exam. Candidates will be notified with CTET 2018 exam dates after the official notification is issued.

CTET 2018 Exam Pattern
CTET 2018 will be organized in two phases:
- Papers come and
- Paper II
Paper I is organized for candidates who wish to become teachers from Class I to V and Paper II, who wish to become a teacher for classes VI to VIII. Candidates have the option to apply for both Paper 1 and Paper II. The question questions asked in both Paper I and Paper II are multiple choice questions. Paper is bilingual, i.e. both in English and Hindi To be eligible for the Seat 2018 exam, one candidate has to score a minimum of 60%. One major thing is that after the CBSE declares the result, the CTET score is valid for 7 years.

CTET 2018 application fee
Candidates can apply for CTET 2018 exam by logging in to CTET's official website. Either the candidate of General or OBC category has to pay Rs. 600 / - (if applying for Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 1000 / - (if both are applying for paper) the same amount will be reduced to Rs. 300 / - (if applying for Paper I or Paper II) and Rs. 500 / - for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes category (if application for both papers)
CTET 2018 syllabus
The CTET 2018 syllabus is really huge. It focuses primarily on the concept of education in child development and education science and schools. To clear the CTET 2018 exam, one part of the language should be a master. CTET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for selection of candidates for the post of teacher for class I-V and different for Class VI-VIII. See the educational qualifications required by candidates for these two classes:
Educational Qualification for Class I-V
- A candidate who has completed senior secondary or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and clearing or appearing in the final year examination of the diploma (2 year duration) in primary education or
- According to NCTE Rule 2002, candidates who cleared or appearing in the final year examination of the minimum 45% marks in Primary Secondary or equivalent examination and the Diploma in Primary Education (2 year duration)
- A candidate who has completed senior secondary or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and clearing or appearing in the final year's examination of graduate (4 year duration) of primary education.
- A candidate who has completed Senior Secondary or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and is clearing or appearing in the last year's examination of diploma (2 year duration) in education. Or
- A candidate who has completed Bachelor's degree and has cleared or is present in the final year's examination of diploma (2 year duration) in primary education.
Educational Qualification for Class VI-VIII
- A candidate who holds a bachelor's degree and is passing or passing the final year examination of diploma (2 year duration) in primary education. Or
- A candidate who completed his bachelor's degree with 50% marks and has cleared the final year examination of the graduate in education. Or
- A candidate has completed his bachelor's degree with 40% marks and has approved in the last year's examination of graduation in education according to NCTE rules. Or
- A candidate who has completed Senior Secondary or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and approved in the last year's examination of the 4 year period or under graduate primary education graduate in priority. Or
- A candidate who completed Senior Secondary or equivalent examination with 50% marks and clearing or appearing in the last year's examination of BA Ed / BSc Ed or BA / BSc Ed. Or
- A candidate who receives a bachelor's degree with 50% marks and clearing or appearing in the BEd program for a period of 1 year.
CTET 2018 Admit Card
After completion of the application process, admission letter / call letter for CTET 2018 exam will be uploaded on the website. Candidates are required to download the CTET 2018 Admission Letter from their official website. Entry cards will be issued separately for candidates who have applied for Paper I, Paper II for both Paper 1 and Paper II.
CTET 2018 results
After taking the CTET exam, results will be announced by the CBSE.
CTET 2018 Cut off
Candidates coming to CTET will be issued a mark statement. Eligibility certificates will be issued to candidates who get 60% marks (General) and above.
School management (government, local bodies, government aided and subsidized) can consider giving concession to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Individuals with Disabilities, etc., according to their existing reservation policy.
