Human Rights Day is celebrated every year on December 10 worldwide. In the year 1948, for the first time, it was declared annually by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10. It is celebrated annually on special date in honor of the United Nations General Assembly to declare it universal human rights. Human Rights Day was officially established in the United Nations General Assembly on December 4, 1950.
All member countries and interested organizations were invited to celebrate this day. The High Commissioner's Office of Human Rights was honored by the Guinness Book of World Records for the collection of translation and worldwide distribution in the declaration of human rights (about 380 languages). In this event, a global discussion on human rights by the High Commissioner is also organized through social media websites.
