1 - Speech on Water Pollution

Good Afternoon Annual - How are you doing all this?

I hope you find this day in the best spirit!

I - Vidyut Kumar, Save Water, one of the members of the Committee on Save Earth Foundation - All of you are welcome at the 11th Annual Meeting. After a long time you all are good to see; I have been out of the country due to some official reasons and therefore could not be included in the previous two meetings.

Now that I am here in my country and for the sake of my destruction, I have come under severe crisis of water crisis. At the top of it, I inspect the people who abuse this valuable resource. It should be strictly prohibited by our government and heavy fines should be imposed on those who see water wasting. In fact, the government should stay agitated about such human agencies which cause water pollution and contaminate water quality. Water pollution is one of the most dangerous issues in the present time, due to which the countries of the world are battling.

Water pollution can be said in the form of discharge of toxic substances in our water bodies - lakes, rivers, rivers, rivers and oceans where the elements interfere with the natural work of water or the natural work of the ecosystem. In addition to the discharge of substances like microorganisms or chemicals, water pollution includes release of energy in water bodies as heat and radioactive.

Water bodies are polluted by a wide range of substances, such as

  • Plant nutrients;
  • radioactive substances;
  • Pathogenic microorganisms;
  • Petroleum (oil);
  • heat;
  • Sediment putrescible organic waste;
  • poisonous chemicals

This is the time when some preventive measures need to be taken through the appropriate infrastructure along with the management plans. The infrastructure includes waste treatment plans. Industrial waste water treatment and sewage treatment plants are often required to preserve water channels with untreated wastewater. If we are to control the process of erosion from construction sites and to adopt agricultural wastewater treatment, then it can help prevent water pollution.

Nature based solutions can also help to overcome water pollution. It is important to check on urban runoff, which reduces the amount and speed of flow. Excellent management practices have been adopted for water pollution, which include approaches such as reducing water quality and improving quality of water.

So if there is a problem; The solution is also definitely. We just need to identify the problem, assess the nature of the problem, its source and origin, and then work accordingly.

All this is from me; With this I relax my speech. Thanks!

2 - Speech on Water Pollution

Good Morning everyone |

I - Sandy Wolf - All members of our ABC Society are warmly welcomed. As you all know that this is the day of our speech giving the day 2 and our water saving campaign is successfully making its mark. People are becoming more and more aware and are trying to cut down the use of water so that this precious resource can be saved as much as possible. To my surprise, in fact, a large level of maturity is seen in our children who are not wasting water and using it very wisely.

However, we will not only have to deal with the situation of water crisis but also to control the water pollution. As I was discussing the causes of water pollution in my final speech, I would like to continue with that and there are some other remaining water pollution agents:

Fertilizers and Detergents

Chemical fertilizers are usually compounds of nitrogen, phosphate and potash. These are non-biodegradable in nature and when the surface comes in contact with the water bodies from the sun, there is a great danger for aquatic life.

Washing articles are commonly known as detergents. They are composed of complex phosphates, which dissolve in phosphate and other chemicals. When the phosphate absorbed by aquatic plants naturally increases the concentration of phosphorus in sewage effluents. Fishes and invertebrates are very influenced by detergents.

Thermal pollution

To cool the water is used during various industrial processes and the resultant hot water is often discharged in lakes and rivers. Oil or coal-based generators and nuclear power plants carry waste heat in the form of hot water and lead to thermal pollution.

Toxic metal

Metallurgical laboratories and mining operations are responsible for the discovery of heavy metals such as copper, zinc, mercury, lead, chromium, arsenic, etc. Mercuric compounds present in water are converted into dimethyl and monomethyl mercury with the help of methane, Which is free from methane. Anaerobic rupture of organic waste.

Both are non-degraded and highly toxic, which can cause chromosomal damage and harmful effects on fish kidneys, liver and gills. Toxic metals, which cause air pollution, such as nickel, cadmium and lead can penetrate deep into the water bodies and affect the life of aquatic animals.

Suspended concrete

These are water pollutants in physical form. For example, silt is a fine sediment which goes in many ways in the rivers as well as runs away from the surface. Salt enhances the water's turbidity, which increases the efficiency of the aquatic environment and the growth of aquatic animals.

Demand for Biochemical Oxygen (B.O.D.)

Organic waste is a part of the water bodies which use dissolved oxygen. BOD means the amount of oxygen required for biochemical oxidation by microorganisms in the unit volume of water. The demand of oxygen is directly linked to the growing input of organic waste. So BOD is a unit for measuring oxygen for the biochemical erosion of organic elements present in water. Aerobic decomposers work. The value of BOD is directly related to the sum of oxidized organic matter. Therefore, BOD is used as a measurement to assess the level of water pollution.

Therefore, these are five other factors which are contributing to water pollution and we need to have the required knowledge of these factors so that they can be kept under control. With this, I relax my speech.

Thanks!

3 - Speech on Water Pollution

Good Morning Dear Society Members and Children - Welcome to our Community Club!

As you all know that our society is experiencing serious water crisis, it calls for immediate solution. We all have to work collectively to be able to combat the situation in this hot climate. My second intention is to call everyone here, especially to make children realize how important water is for our survival and we must strictly avoid misuse of it.

It is not an exaggeration to say that water is undoubtedly "nectar of life". Is not it? The meaning of the word nectar is a magic liquid, which is believed to cure disease or makes people immortal. Life originated in water and evolved and life is simply unimaginable without it. Water has a neutral pH value and it is considered an ideal triangular solvent. Water is colorless, tasteless and odorless in its pure form.

Water pollution is caused by pollution, i.e., the discharge of pollutants such as domestic, industrial, chemical, biological, physical and so on. Water pollution involves physical or chemical changes in its property, which adversely affect human health including other organisms. Water pollution has become the cause of global concern at the present time. The level of pollution varies from one country to another and from one region to another. In developing countries, many pandemics are associated with contaminated water.

Depending on the type or source of contamination, water pollution can be of several types, such as:

  • Bacterial pollution
  • Nutritional pollution
  • Pesticide pollution
  • Metal pollution
  • thermal pollution
  • Viral pollution
  • Radioactive pollution
  • Petrochemical pollution

Water is polluted by man-made activities or natural causes.

I am sure that there are children, you must have read all this in the work of your curriculum and here I am paying attention to those same facts. Now let's understand some of the man-made or natural causes of water pollution:

Domestic waste and sewage run off

Household waste generally contains organic wastes such as food waste, household waste, textiles, paper, toiletries and are away from human emissions due to bathing, home cleaning, food processing and laundering. Do you know that about 75 percent of water pollution is due to domestic and sewage waste? Since domestic sewage usually contains organic wastes, when they are discharged into water bodies, they absorb a lot of oxygen and define the amount of oxygen going to be called BOD, i.e. biological oxygen demand. goes.

Pesticides

Pesticides are synthetic compounds required for pest control. When the excess of agricultural areas is discharged into water, there is pollution of various water bodies, such as rivers, rivers and lakes. There are some industrial insecticides that enter in inland waters too. These pesticides have adverse effects on a wide range of aquatic organisms, which include fish and insects.

Although many such chemical compounds are very stable. Some of them are partially disintegrated so that many can become poisonous compounds. Pesticides that are used to kill harmful insects are either organic phosphorus compounds (malathion) or chlorinated hydrocarbons (endreen, DDT and Aldrin). They are stable and lead to a buildup in tissues of aqueous chemicals. There is more accumulation in animals when we go in high levels of traffic levels.

Industrial effort and discharge

Industry is also responsible for the production of many organic and inorganic waste, which eventually enters water bodies and pollutes it. When the aquatic environment becomes toxic, it not only affects the population of the fish, but also creates a buildup at the bottom of these water bodies and water enters the body of animals. Resistant items, such as metal, cans, tires, plastic goods and polythene deposits in further water bodies and pollute them.

Therefore, there are many reasons for water pollution, which are identified and kept under constant check, we can overcome the problem of water pollution.

I want to end my speech here and I want to continue it in the next meeting. In the meantime, let's discuss how we can take measures to deal with the current situation.

Here I relax my speech, thank you!

4 - Speech on Water Pollution

Respected Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and my dear friends - Wish you all the best wishes!

Hi, I'm Geeta Dubey form Classes - I  - XII (C) -  Welcome everyone in our school hall. I hope that this morning you will bring a lot of positivity and good vibes for you. I stand here to give an important speech on water pollution.

As we all know, water gives us life and without this, no life on earth will be imagined. This is why it is said that every drop of water matters. We also use water every day for almost all domestic purposes and for other business purposes. We require water for drinking, washing, cooking, fishing, irrigation etc.

However, we still waste this important resource and do not use it an intelligent use. Not only do we use water in a careless manner and abuse it, but also causes water pollution. Waste, industrial wastes and other residues of used articles are being dumped in oceans and rivers, resulting in water contamination. Other toxic chemicals released from factories and insecticides used during agricultural operations also get in water; There is more pollution in the water.

It does not stop here; The poor quality of water supply and contact with water supply line with sewage decreases the quality of water and becomes ineligible to drink. Contaminated water is a serious threat to the existence of human life, animals and fish. Poor and undeveloped countries are actually facing heavy problems of water shortage and water pollution because there is no suitable waste disposal system and poor water supply and treatment system.

They dump the trash and shed waste products directly into the lakes and rivers. Nearly one-third of the world's population does not have access to safe drinking water. So it gives birth to waterborne diseases like diarrhea. In the underdeveloped countries or poor countries, the disease is very rife, where the proportion of poor people is quite high.

Developed countries rarely suffer from the problem of water pollution. In such countries, water pollution is mainly due to improper use of pesticides to protect the agricultural crop. In such countries, the problem of water pollution does not arise from the poor garbage management system such as in undeveloped countries where settlement and water treatment costs are usually ineffective.

But whether it is a developed country or undeveloped - every country is battling water crisis. Strict measures should be implemented where dumping of waste or any other toxic waste is prohibited. Apart from this, the government should adopt water conservation techniques and these techniques should be provided to the people so that water can be avoided. This is all from me!

Now can I invite our social science teacher to a few words on this forum and share our knowledge with them!

Thanks!

5 - Speech on Water Pollution

Good Morning Everyone! Hope you all welll today !

Water is the most important natural resource for life. Humans not only drink, but also require water for cooking, washing, irrigation, fishing etc. People have been misused and abused for a long time. Industrial waste, garbage and other residues of used items are causing the contamination of water in rivers and oceans. It is also contaminated by toxic chemicals coming from factories, pesticides used in agriculture etc.

Due to the poor water supply system, it contaminated the water used to drink sewage contact with the water supply line. Contaminated water has become a serious threat to humans, fish and animals. Poor and less developed countries are facing more problems of water pollution because they have weakened the water treatment and supply system and lack of proper drainage system.

They throw waste products and garbage directly into their rivers and lakes. Nearly a third of the world's population does not have safe water. One very common waterborne disease is diarrhea, which is caused by contaminated water. It is very common in the poor countries and in poor class of less developed countries.

Developed countries are almost free from the problem of water pollution. Water pollution in those countries is mainly due to the excessive use of pesticides to protect agricultural crops. Water pollution in these countries is not due to waste management, because in less developed countries for which its disposal and treatment is generally unaffected.

However, the developed countries are not overcome by the problem of water contamination because they are poor because they have adequate resources and efficient techniques for treatment and recycling of sewage, garbage and household waste.

A team of researchers from the UK's Center for Ecology and Hydrology and experts from the World Water Council presented a new index of water rich and water-poor countries. Five different criteria were used to build the index: resources, access, use, capacity and environment.

This water index is not in line with the development index. For example, America - one of the most developed countries - is on the Water Index at 33rd. Experts calculate that 20 percent of the world's population in 30 countries faced water shortage in 2000, which will climb up to 30 percent in 50 countries by 2025.

Earth Summit held in Johannesburg in September 2002 was estimated that by 2015, half of the world's population would be without access to clean water and sanitation. Of the total 147 countries, Finland is at the top, followed by Canada, Iceland, Norway, Guyana, Suriname, Austria, Ireland, Sweden and Switzerland, and down from Haiti, Niger, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Malawi, Djibouti. , Chad, Benin, Rwanda and Burundi

6 - 1 Minute Speech on Water Pollution

Our earth has become a reservoir of waste. We are one, that is, people living on earth, who are responsible for the rising pollution.

There are 3 types of pollution. They are:

Water Pollution: This type of pollution is happening because we are throwing our daily wastes in it. Toxic wastes coming out of the factories are also polluting the water bodies. Water pollution is affecting the life of marine organisms. They are dying. Holy holy gang is also polluted due to the flowers thrown during rituals.

Land Pollution: This type of pollution is happening because we are throwing our daily wastes anywhere on the road, which we want. Drainage can cause stagnation in the system.

Air Pollution: The main sources of air pollution are harmful gases emitting from vehicles. This causes health problems.
